Genesis 2:1-3 (on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day)
(on the seventh
day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day)
『Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the
host of them. And on the seventh day God
ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his
work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh
day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work
which God created and made. 』 (Genesis 2:1-3)
God created heaven and earth in the beginning. He created the material world by
blocking the light of God from the kingdom of God. That is why the world was
created as a water mass of darkness. Humans cannot know how deep this darkness
is. God shows how deep human sin is through the depths of darkness. Then God
created the light of matter and separated day and night. However, people
misunderstand that God created the first day. The first day began after God
separated the light into low and night. Day 0 and day 1 are different. When a
child is born, it means that he is 0 years old, not 1 year old.
The first day
began after God separated the light into low and night. So on the first day, in
the water, a firmament was created and divided into water above the firmament
and water below the firmament. On the second day, the soil was filtered from
the water under the firmament, called the land, and the water called the sea.
On the third day, two great lights and stars were placed in the sky to control
day and night, on the fourth day to have birds in the sky, to fish in the sea,
and on the fifth day to make humans that resemble the animals of the land and
the image of God. On the sixth day, all heaven and earth were made.
In other
words, both the spiritual army of heaven and the spiritual army of the earth
have been deployed. And on the seventh day, God rested. Humans cannot tell how
long there was between God's creation in the beginning and the first day. It
only allows God to realize how deep human sin is.
"All
heaven and earth are all made" means that the army (spirit) of the kingdom
of God and the army (criminal spirit) on this earth are all deployed. There is
a parable of the prodigal son in the Bible. In the parable of the prodigal son,
just as the father was waiting for his son to return, God is waiting for the
spirits who have left God. The prodigal son spent all his fortune and
remembered his father's house in pain. Likewise, spirits in the darkness who
leave God forget God. So, when you realize that you are locked in the dark, you
will find God.
"He
stopped everything he had done and rested on the seventh day." God
expresses that he will give rest to those who have left God and return to the
kingdom of God. The sixth day, including the first, is about the world. The
sixth day is the day when a person's work ends. On the seventh day, God rests.
In Exodus
20:9 『Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work 』. God gave the law to the exodus of the Israelites. The word
"six days" means while a person lives, "I will do all of your
hard work." The reason humans came to this world is because God gave
permission because the spirits said they would build their kingdom like God
without God. Human beings do their best to achieve eternal life by trying for
themselves.
In Genesis
1:29, "And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed,
which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the
fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 』. To make food, humans must cultivate it. The farmer plows the
ground, sows seeds, and harvests the fruit. The seed is a parable of the word
of God. In Genesis 2:15, 『And the LORD God took the
man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. And Adam
and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, and God cast them out, and in Genesis
3:23, 『Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the
garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. 』
So, it is to
realize what the meaning of eternal life is through cultivation. It means to
cultivate the ground to obtain and eat fruit, but to realize that it is not
eternal, and to seek fruit for eternal life. It is that humans try with all
their strength, but eventually realize that they have no choice but to die. It
means that the army of the earth will grind the ground of the heart and sow the
seeds of heaven to obtain the fruit of eternal life. If you do this, you will
get rest on the seventh day. Keeping the Sabbath means remembering this.
Man works to
save eternal life, and God works to give eternal life. There is no God in this
world. However, in order to give humans eternal life, God must come to this
world. It is Jesus Christ who came to this world. He is the seed of promise.
From Genesis 1:1, God promised that the true light would come into the world
through the light of the world. In John 6:27-29『 Labour not for
the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting
life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father
sealed. Then said they
unto him, What shall we do, that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them,
This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. 』 What God is
doing is believing the one whom God has sent. In order to believe in the one
whom God sent, God sent the prophet, and finally the Son of God.
People in the
world must find the fruit of the kingdom of God by realizing that they are the
ones who have left God while living in the world (for six days). God makes
humans realize that they are in darkness, leaving God, and send Christ to those
who want to have eternal life in the kingdom of God, so that they may have
eternal life. This is rest. While life is constantly living in this world, it
is necessary to change the field of mind to find the fruit of eternal life.
That is why we must enter into Christ (rest).
After working
for six days, people have to realize that it is wrong to be like God on their
own. This is because the day of God's promise is six days. Of course, an
individual's deadline ends with physical death, but in the whole life, it is the
end of six days. The Bible expresses the day when the sixth day ends. In
Galatians 4:4, 『But when the fulness of the
time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, 』. The fact that Jesus Christ came into the world means that God has
come to earth because the deadlines that humans can do are over. Likewise, when
Jesus died on the cross, he said, "It is finished." In other words,
God's work is over. For six days, the work of the people of the world and the
work of God ended. Now the rest must come.
Has the rest
come? Those who are in Christ have entered rest. For all humans, the
opportunity to cultivate and seek the seed of promise has disappeared. For
humans, only believing in the Christ of the promise that has already come will
yield the fruit of eternal life. Only the choice of whether to believe or not
in Christ remains. The word believe in Jesus Christ means believing in union
with Christ who died on the cross. In addition to believing that Jesus died on
behalf of my sins, it becomes what I believe when accepting that "the dead
Jesus is me." So in Romans 6:4『 Therefore we are buried with him
by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the
glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 』 The dead died
by the law.
So Romans
8:3-6 applies to those who are united with Jesus Christ.『 For what the law could not do, in
that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of
sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be
fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they
that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are
after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For
to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
』
When the
people who came to the earth realized that it was wrong because they wanted to
be like God themselves, when they cried to God, God came in the form of a body
and caused humans to die with Christ according to the law. Those who are in
Christ are also dead according to the law. In Romans 6:7『 For he
that is dead is freed from sin. 』
