Genesis 1:4-5 (God divided the light from the darkness)
(God
divided the light from the darkness)
(Genesis 1:4-5) And God saw the light, that it was good: and God
divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the
darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 』
『 God said, Let there be light:
and there was light. 』 The light contains the promise that "God
will give light to the world of darkness, and one day true light will come to
this world." The light of matter shines this world, and likewise the true
light of God comes and shines upon the dead spirit. However, the light of the
world cannot shines the whole world at the same time. When light goes, darkness
comes, and when light comes, darkness goes away. Light and darkness cannot
coexist.
Why did God divide light and darkness? This does not mean physically dividing,
but it means that when true light comes into the world, it is divided into
those who enter true light and those who are in darkness. In John 1:5,
"And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
When Jesus Christ comes to this world, he is divided into those who are in
Christ and those who are outside. In order to enter into Christ, we must die
with Jesus.
In John 3:19-21『And this is the condemnation, that light is come into
the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were
evil. For every one that
doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should
be reproved. But he that
doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they
are wrought in God. 』 Those who are in the true light are those who
have eternal life. Knowing and believing in Jesus is not eternal life, but
united with Jesus who died on the cross. We can realize that there are three
types of faith. First, the people trapped in Egypt were able to exodus because
of the blood of the Passover lamb. The second was to send twelve spies from
Canadebadea to Canaan, and the ten spies said, "If you enter, you
die." Only Joshua and Caleb said, "If we enter Canaan, we will occupy
the land."
It is said
that all the exodus from the people believed in the words of the ten spies and
wept and wept. They wandered for 40 years in the wilderness and died. They are
called old man. And the new mans, born in the wilderness, went into Canaan with
Joshua and Caleb. Third, God gave the law before the people entered Canaan, but
they said that if they kept the law well, they would be righteous. So, the people
tried hard to keep the law, and they thought they were righteous by offering
sacrifices when they sinned. These are those who have fallen into their own
righteousness. It is his righteousness to try to achieve righteousness through
the law.
God told the
people, "Through the law, realize that all people are sinners, discover
Christ the descendant of the promise and wait for the Messiah." But the
people did not. Applying this to the present day, the Exodus relies on Jesus'
blood to escape from Satan. However, to enter Canaan (Christ), he tells us that
the old man must die. In other words, the old man means the physical identity
of self. Jesus said to deny himself. Even if people lean on Jesus' blood, they
will not enter Christ unless they deny themselves. In Romans 6:6-7『Knowing
this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be
destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin.
』
And, the Bible says that even when people enter
Canaan, they must be circumcised not by law but by circumcision. The
circumcision of the heart is the circumcision of Christ. If you die with Jesus,
you will be resurrected with Jesus. However, if you are bound by the law like
the Pharisees, the resurrection does not apply. For those who hold onto the
law, Christ has not come to them. Those who have entered into Christ are dead
by the law. So people who have nothing to do with the law, if they say they
died with Christ and live legally, they are lying.
So, salvation
must not only rely on the blood of Jesus, but the old man must die and be
circumcised in the heart to reach righteousness. In Leviticus, even the
cleansing consciousness of unclean things must be offered as a sin offering and
a burnt offering. Atonement is a blood-spraying sacrifice, but burnt offerings
are burned and destroyed. In other words, it means that the old man dies with
Jesus.
To be one
with Christ, we must die for the world (Satan), die for the sin (old man), and
die for the law. That is why the saint enters Christ and is at the right hand
of God in Christ. Before Jesus died on the cross, he prayed to God and prayed
that the disciples would be one, just as Jesus is one with God. It is said in
John 17:21-23.『That they all may be one; as thou,
Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the
world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I
have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they
may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me,
and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 』
In Matthew
24:38-39, 『For as in the days that were before
the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until
the day that Noe entered into the ark, 』 The Bible
says, "They did not know why the Flood was there, and even until they
reached death." The reason is God's judgment. When Jesus comes again,
judgment is the same. In order to be saved, the above three must be
accomplished.
『God
divided the light from the darkness 』. This is what God
planned for salvation before the foundation of the world. This is grace. People
are in the dark, but do not realize that they are in the dark. People ask how
the light and darkness can be divided before the sun and moon are created.
Those who have the knowledge of the world should not judge the wisdom
of God. 『God called light day and
darkness called night』. Why did God make this day and
night so? The beginning of this world began in darkness. If there is always
light, darkness does not come. So, God did not always have light on this earth.
When there is no light, it becomes darkness by itself. The reason is to realize
that all human beings are trapped in darkness without light. So it means that
you are in the dark, but you must meet the light. For humans in the dark, it
means that God will come as light.
Romans 1:19-20『Because that which may be known of God is manifest in
them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from
the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that
are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 』 It is in the
middle of darkness, but the light comes. It is a truth that everyone knows.
However, the reason people don't realize that they are in the dark is because
they are thinking of light first. Human beings are like light, but think they
become dark. So, they try hard to be light and want to be like God. They are living
by being deceived by Satan. In John 8:12, 『Then
spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that
followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
"In order to escape from Satan, we must enter into Christ.
