Genesis 1:1-2 (In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth)

(In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.)

In Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

The people of the church say that God created all things in the beginning. We must understand the word "the heaven and the earth." Heaven means the kingdom of God, not the sky we see with our eyes. The earth is not the land we live in, but the world (material world) that is against the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is where God is, and the world is a material world where God is not separated from God's kingdom.

The words from Genesis 1:1 are important, and we need to keep an eye on "the heavens (shameim), the land (erets), the creation (bara)". Regarding Heaven (Shameim), in the Old Testament, all "heavens" are called Shameim. The blue sky is also called Shameim, the outer space is also called Shameim, and the kingdom of God where God dwells is also called Shameim. In the Old Testament, all heaven is shameim. In the Old Testament, when we call Shamiim, we must first think about what this heaven is. It means that you have to think about which of the three heavens by looking at the context. Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

In other words, if you look at Deuteronomy in "God bara (creating) Shameim and Eretsu", Deuteronomy 26:15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our fathers, a land that floweth with milk and honey. Here, "Wonderfully the Holy Place of the Lord" is the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is used as a shameim. This shameim is used in Genesis 1:1. In 1 Kings 8:30 And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

Heaven in 1 Kings is also the kingdom of God, and it is Shamaim. Then, where is the heaven (Shamaim) in Genesis 1:1? In Genesis 1:8, And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. This firmament can be seen as being made in Genesis verse 7.

If you look at the heaven in Genesis 1:1 as the sky in Genesis 1:8, you will make the heavens in the beginning and the heavens created in Genesis 1:7 will overlap, so it will not fit the logic. Therefore, it is clear that the Shameim of Genesis 1:1 is not the sky we see. It can be said that the heaven in Genesis 1:1 refers to the kingdom of God.

Then, in the land (Eretz), in Genesis 1:9, God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. The land is Eretsu. Then, it overlaps with Eretz as mentioned in Genesis 1:1. Some people may say that the earth is the same land in Genesis 1:1, and then say that it is the same land in Genesis 1:9, but the land in Genesis 1:1 can be understood as referring to the material world we speak of. Because the earth is said to be "made" in Genesis 1:1, it is also called Genesis 1:9. In other words, it can be seen that the land of Genesis 1:1 refers to the material world, not the earth's land, because it is the result of naming duplicates. You can see that the material world created by God is covered with water.

The Hebrew word for translated "create" is "bara." By the way, to understand the meaning of the word "bara," Isaiah 45:7, "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things. "The word "build" here is the word "bara." Here, Darkness refers to Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. Is the same word as darkness.

Darkness manifests itself when the light disappears. When peace disappears, it becomes tribulation on its own. In 1 John 1:5, This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. "There is no darkness in God. So, it becomes dark because God blocks the light. The word bara means separate, cut out. Therefore, this material world blocks the light of the kingdom of God (hopefully), so the material world called darkness was created.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth . This is the word that separated the physical world (world) from the kingdom of God. When God separated the material world, it was a place where the earth (material world) was chaotic, empty, and darkness was deep. The material world was made of water. "The Spirit of God moved upon the surface of the water." The word moved upon means to wrap like an egg.

Why did God separate the material world from the kingdom of God? It was to imprison those who had left their place in the kingdom of God without keeping their status. In Isaiah 53:6, All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Sheep have poor visual discernment. So, it was expressed as an animal susceptible to deception.

What they did wrong was that they had fallen into the delusion of Satan. "Each one went on their way (Ish)". God created the first man, Adam, and brought a woman from the man (Ish). The Hebrew word "Ish" here means that through Adam, those who have sinned in the kingdom of God have entered the world. Adam is the image of the Coming One. It means being a person in charge of sin. God sent the spirits of those who had sinned in the kingdom of God into the material world, which required life as a victim of flesh. That's what Adam did. And it separates Eve from Adam, and through them, descendants are born. That is why God imprisons sinful spirits in the flesh.

Spirits who have sinned in the kingdom of God have fallen into the delusion of Satan that they can become like God themselves without God. This delusion also appeared in the Garden of Eden. So, because Eve was first deceived, and Eve gave the husband the fruit of a tree to know good and evil, they were driven out of the Garden of Eden into the world. The Garden of Eden happened on this earth, but it roles to explain the events of the kingdom of God. In the book of Revelation, the new heaven, the new earth, has only light without darkness. Because God is light. So there is no God in the material world where darkness exists.

In 1 John 2:15, Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. However, God predestined Christ before the creation, and God came into the physical world to save sinful spirits. Through the Word, God is waiting for those who are trapped in the darkness of this world.
